Building lighting management and existing installations. Check the generation before planning extensions.
RA2 Select
Residential control by room or zone. Check locally available part numbers.
RadioRA 3
Wireless residential system in the US catalogue. Do not automatically apply its part numbers in Europe.
HomeWorks QS and HomeWorks with a QSX processor are different generations. QS documentation describes that generation and does not establish compatibility with current products.
myRoom Prime and myRoom XC are different solutions. For new XC projects, consult its specific specification and regional compatibility tables.
HomeWorks
HomeWorks brings lighting, blinds and curtains together in scenes for everyday life. We design circuits and keypad positions to make operation straightforward, from a single room to an entire home. For renovations, we assess which existing components can be retained and which need upgrading.
Residential and homesmyRoom XC
myRoom XC coordinates guest-room lighting, curtains and temperature control with compatible equipment. We define welcome, rest and departure scenes around the hotel’s operations. We assess connections to management systems and treat guest rooms and shared spaces according to their different requirements.
Hospitality and hotelsAthena
Athena provides zoned control of lighting and daylight in offices and commercial spaces. We design scenes for work, meetings and changing uses, with compatible luminaires and dimming. Schedules, sensors and building management integration are assessed for each project.
Corporate and officesTechnical concepts
- Bus / IP
- A bus connects devices through a shared link. IP enables data exchange between networked devices.
- LEAP
- An integration protocol for certain Lutron systems. Functions and access depend on the product and integration programme.
- DALI / DALI-2
- A digital lighting control protocol. DALI-2 includes interoperability certification; compatibility must be checked.
- Phase-cut dimming
- Modifies the supply waveform. Leading-edge or trailing-edge control must match the driver and load characteristics.
- 0–10 V / PWM
- 0–10 V uses an analogue control signal; PWM varies the duty cycle of pulses. They are not interchangeable interfaces.
- BMS / RMS
- Building or room management systems. They can coordinate equipment through compatible interfaces.
The exact reference, system generation and country determine compatibility. Global TV checks power, communications and availability before specifying a product. Catalogues retain their original language and edition.
